Warm Clothes for KidsUnited Way is the philanthropic hub of Logan County.  Since 1955, generations of local residents and businesses make their charitable impact through United Way.  When you give to United Way, you become a part of a long-standing solution that works to positively influence the health, education, and financial stability of every person in Logan County.  More than just a fundraiser, United Way collaborates with businesses, non-profits, government, and civic organizations to address the growing needs of our community.  No gift is too large or too small, as your contributions of time and treasure unite with those of others to make a difference here at home.

We hope you view us as a community partner in your work to keep our community healthy. For example, because of United Way funding:

  • Long-time Mary Rutan-coordinated programs receive financial support, including the LOGAN COUNTY CANCER SOCIETY and the MEDICATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, where hundreds of local patients receive financial support for prescriptions and access to treatments.
  • TCN BEHAVIORIAL HEALTH screens every 6th and 9th grade student in Logan County for mental health, substance abuse, and suicide risk so that those who score accordingly can be identified and get help with counseling.
  • RECOVERY ZONE provides peer support-led discussion groups and safe activities for those recovering from mental health and addiction.
  • 10 NEW programs to support the Mental Health of students and adults in our community are being funded through United Way's one-time grants in 2023, including the Stress Less art and music therapy program through the Logan County Art League and JOURNEY LIVING MINISTRIES Greatest Of All Time program at their new Sozo Center.
  • Hundreds of senior citizens have free rides to medical appointments through RTC SERVICES
  • Thousands of local residents are supported through United Way's HOUSING STABILITY PROGRAM or LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES that affects the health and financial stability of their entire families.

In an effort to be as accountable as possible, United Way is open and transparent when it comes to its financial records.  Our annual audit is conducted by an independent firm (Holbrook & Manter, CPAs).  These documents, as well as our annual IRS Tax Form 990, are both available for review by clicking here.|
